I designed a large amount of portfolio books for this architecture firm based in Los Angeles. I was brought in to create these designs that were being sent out to prospective clients all around the world.
One of the main areas that Nadel was expanding in to was China. The government mandated that all prefectures in mainland china were to build Sports Complexes, Government buildings, Shopping Centers, etc. There were firms from all over the world competing for the chance to build there.
The books below are for a sports complex in China, as well as an overall book for multiple projects used as a portfolio. Some of the challenges were working to make all books bi-lingual in both Chinese and English, as well as being printed in china for delivery as needed while designing and managing from California with modified portfolios being printed on demand.
